About Us
Our story
We are the official keepers of
your most treasured moments.
— and we believe they deserve more than a camera roll
Ministry of Memory was built on a simple and uncomfortable truth: the most photographed generation in human history is also the least likely to have anything physical to show for it.
Where it started
It started with a Sunday afternoon
and a box of crayons.
A few years ago, someone on our team sat down with their grandmother on a rainy Sunday afternoon. No plan, no agenda — just a box of old crayons and a printed photo of the family from thirty years ago that had somehow survived in a drawer.
“She started coloring and didn’t stop for two hours. And she talked the whole time — stories none of us had ever heard. About the house. About my grandfather. About who she was before she was anyone’s grandmother.”
That afternoon, something became very clear. The coloring wasn’t the point. The conversation was. The photo was just a reason to sit together and slow down long enough for a story to find its way out.
Ministry of Memory was built to create more of those afternoons. For every family that has thousands of photos sitting unseen in a cloud drive. For every grandparent with stories nobody has thought to ask about yet. For every parent watching their kids scroll past the memories that made them.
What we believe
Memories aren’t meant
to live on a screen.
We live in the most documented era in human history. Every meal, every holiday, every ordinary Tuesday with the kids — photographed, uploaded, and immediately buried beneath ten thousand more images. We have more memories captured than any generation before us. And we are worse at keeping them than any generation before us.
Ministry of Memory exists to fix that. Not by building another app. Not by adding another digital layer to an already digital life. But by taking your most precious photos off the screen and putting them in your children’s hands — as pages to color, as prompts for conversation, as something physical that your family will return to long after the moment has passed.
The coloring session becomes the memory. That is the whole point.
What guides us
Three things we never compromise on.
01 — Every page is human-reviewed
AI converts your photos to line art. A real human on our team then checks every single page before your book is assembled. Faces, lines, detail, quality — reviewed and approved before anything gets printed. No other service does this. We think it matters.
02 — Your photos stay completely private
Your family’s photos are private — full stop. We never display, share, or use your images for any purpose beyond making your book. Files are permanently deleted 90 days after your order. What you share with us stays with us.
03 — We stand behind every book
If anything in your book isn’t right when it arrives, we reprint it at no charge. If you’re still not happy, we refund you in full. We haven’t had a customer leave unhappy and we intend to keep that record. Your satisfaction is our reputation.
Why Ministry of Memory
We do things others don’t bother with.
There are other personalized coloring book services. Most of them run your photos through an algorithm and ship whatever comes out. We think that’s not good enough for something as meaningful as your family’s memories.
Real human eyes on every page
Not just AI. A person checks every converted page for quality, accuracy, and coloring-readiness. We fix issues before you ever see them.
Premium print quality
We use professional print partners with premium paper stock. Your book feels like a keepsake because it is one — not a flimsy printout.
Built for coloring, not just display
Our line art is optimised for crayons and coloured pencils — bold enough to see, detailed enough to be recognisable, spacious enough to actually color in.

Our promise
We treat your memories
with the care they deserve.
When you send us your family photos, you’re trusting us with something irreplaceable. We understand that. Every photo you share — of your children, your parents, your pets, the people you’ve loved and lost — is handled by our team with the same care we would want someone to handle ours.
We are a small team. We see every order. We review every page. We read every email. Your book is not a transaction for us. It’s a responsibility. And we take that seriously every single day.
